    I love my new Brio 4S19F! It's so well made, so easy to fold up and reopen, and will perfectly suit travel/tours, etc. It's a beautiful shade of blue, even though that wouldn't have been my color choice -- but the sale price was irresistable. One couldn't ask for more helpful or friendly staff, either, which is very important when buying something like this online.

    Out and About healthcare is a disgraceful business. After selling a poorly performing chair to my cripple father, they refused to refund or trade an alternate model. The owner was a complete condescending egomaniac and had the nerve to tell me to take the chair they sold me to the scrap heap. Stay away from this horrible, unethical operation.

    My experience with this company has been very disappointing. I find it astounding that in 2021 they seem to have no formal complaints procedure, particularly for a company involved with differently-abled people and receiving a lot of business through government funding. I note that other people have had positive experiences but advise caution, as my sister felt very manipulated by one of the salespeople who then ignored her very reasonable questions in an email. It has been over a week and she has heard nothing. Perhaps if you have cornered the market you don't need good corporate practice? To update this post, the admin person from the company has just called and advised us to purchase a scooter in Melbourne because it will be easier for servicing and maintenance. None of my complaints addressed. Take note if you don't live in Queensland.
    Update: Glad to hear management are looking into it. I would appreciate some input into that process.
    Update: Wondering if I will hear about the outcome of management's investigations.
    Update: You will see below that it has been suggested that the issue was about 'pricing requirements'. This is absolutely false. This is the email which was never responded to:

    Thank you for confirming with Kylie that there is no possibility of reducing the price on the S-26 Verve you have quoted.

    Kylie mentioned to me that you also discussed with her the maintenance and repair process for the S-26 Verve. Would you please provide written answers to the following questions:

    • Can you recommend a company in Melbourne to repair and maintain the S-26 Verve scooter?
    • Kylie said the scooter needs servicing every 6 months, is that correct?
    • Do you know the approximate costs involved for each service?
    • What happens if spare parts are required?
    • How long is the warranty on the S-26 Verve?

    The reason I like to have details in writing is that I have had a past experience where a company has provided me with verbal information which they did not honour. Written information will help me to feel secure in my choice if I decide to purchase the Verve.

    My sister, on the advice of her Local Area Coordinator, asked whether there was a discount. We were totally satisfied when the answer was no. The management of the company at no time made an attempt to contact me regarding this, despite the fact that they stated they were investigating. An interesting complaints procedure, when it doesn't involve the complainant.

    Have tried to contact you for days now regarding my NDIS Participants Scooter and nothing. How pathetic are you people. It's her only way of transport when she is by herself. What sort of business doesn't have a contact no???

    very disappointing, I have purchase a scooter in the beginning of the year and came with a default with one of the lights, so I phone and mention the light was faulty and asked me to check this light by checking the wires and all ??? but wouldn't you check the merchandise before you freight it to the costumer ? they also said I was reasonable for the cost of fixing their faulty light. this is a hazard and must take action also to add the part would take 7 months to arrive ???? 7 MONTHS seriously then the I request the speed to be adjusted to 10km max (Australian standards) and it has a top speed of 8.5 and 9 fully charged ? they mentioned I have to send it back to get it adjusted or take it to a mechanic .... can you just help me by speaking on the phone ? Real disappointing Out and about really caring NOT happy . and still waiting for the part . Buyers beware

YES its a flat terrain : a flat road to be exact and Fully charged yes I understand Australian standards 10K MAX but why did you check for speed adjustment and light instead giving me the run around have to call or return scooter under my expense very poor management and roll bar is useless if it has a crack in the bar . cheap import mobility scooter that NDIS WILL NOT APPROVE for next person.

    4.6/5 rating is just not RIGHT!!! 100/5 is closer to the mark. Angela is one of the most understanding and compassionate young women we have ever had the privilege to meet. With 100% backup that Steve the owner, gives it is nothing short of outstanding. Our experience we have had dealing with "Out And About" has been made extremely easy and comfortable.We look forward to many years of dealing with this Company. We just wish more companies would take lessons from this exceptional company. Thank you Angela and Steve.

    my mother in law (Yvonne O'Reilly) recently purchased a (S9) Heartway Venus Mobility Scooter. She is extremely happy with it and the customer service was exemplary, from the first initial phone call to it being dropped off, everyone involved was helpful and professional. Nothing was to much trouble.
